
Rock matriarch Sharon Osbourne traveled 5,400 miles to Los Angeles to hold a beside vigil for her pet pooch. The X-Factor judge was in London to watch daughter Kelly's West End debut in a stage production of Chicago - when she heard the news of her pet, Minnie's, ill health.
A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "Minnie is Sharon's favorite out of all her dogs. She was by Sharon's side constantly as she battled cancer. She had to go home to see her. She was sobbing, and her husband Ozzy was comforting her."

He's now 10 weeks old. We've been trying to socialize him, but the number of places we can take him is limited since he hasn't had all his shots and the city is a dirty place.
This weekend, we took him to a friend's place in NJ and he hid the entire time and/or ran away from everyone who wanted to pet him--even the gentle, quiet ones. He does this with everyone in the city that we meet, too, but I'd always assumed that it was the street noise and surroundings were making him nervous.

does anyone have any tips for traveling with dogs? id like to fly with her, but its so expensive im considering driving. i also thought maybe i should fly southwest and then try to ship her. any suggestions?

It's really dark out in the yard. I always wonder what he could be looking at, out there in the darkness. Sometimes I sit next to him and look out too, but I can't see anything. Maybe he's just smelling all the nighttime neighborhood smells.
Just something to think about.
